Caveon Web Patrol uses both search technology and trained individuals to locate web sites that represent a risk to the security of your test program. Such sites might include brain-dump sites, cheating help sites, sites that sell actual test questions, test preparation training/education sites, eBay, and other forums in which actual test items may be bartered.
+Is Caveon Web Patrol search limited?
Caveon Web Patrol does not, at present, search for activity in Internet chat rooms, on e-mail list serves (unless they are archived to the Internet), and some interactive forums. However, if such sites are discovered, they may be probed periodically and their URLís provided in scheduled reports.

+What reports do I receive with a Caveon Web Patrol subscription?
Each quarter you’ll receive a detailed report listing sites that may have your test content. Sites are ranked from 5 – highest risk sites (these sites have or may have your test items and may represent a copyright violation) to 1 – sites that most likely do not have your items.

+How do I know if the site as my actual test items?
To check whether the test items offered on these sites match your actual test items Caveon performs an Item Matching Analysis. Caveon obtains test materials from suspect sites, performs a sophisticated matching analysis for overlap with your actual test content, and reports its findings as a percent of overlap.

We have discovered sites that have exact and complete tests (items, order, answer key, etc.) for sale by using Item Matching Analysis.
One Item Matching Analysis is provided per report. More analyses can be performed for an additional fee.

Caveon offers remediation services in conjunction with Web Patrol. Your testing program can take advantage of our experienced team and innovative technology for around $2,500 per report. You can also receive reports for multiple language searches. That’s an affordable price for the information you’ll receive regarding your program’s security risk.

+How many reports will I receive with a yearly Caveon Web Patrol subscription?
A yearly Web Patrol subscription consists of continuous searching and a minumum of four reports, one each quarter. When you sign up for a yearly subscription we will also waive the setup cost. If your testing program needs more frequent reporting then you’ll qualify for a volume discount.
