John Fremer, Ph.D. promoted to President of Caveon Test Security
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH -- Caveon Test Security, the industry leader in test security solutions, announced today the promotion of John Fremer, to the position of President. This promotion underscores Dr. Fremer’s valuable contributions to the company as he most recently served as Vice President of Client Services, Education Division.
According to Caveon’s chairman and CEO David Foster, Ph.D., “John has done an excellent job expanding Caveon’s business in the educational field this last year by securing a number of key contracts. His leadership will help expand our business in additional areas this year. John has a wealth of experience with over 30 years in the testing industry.”
John Fremer will oversee and manage day-to-day operational activities, business expansion, and strategic partnerships that will contribute to Caveon’s continued success.
Dr. Fremer commented on Caveon’s outlook, “This past year we experienced a four-fold growth in revenue and a major increase in clients. I look forward to helping more testing organizations improve the security of their exams. We have an excellent management team I’m honored to work with in achieving our mission—Ensuring the fairness and validity of test results and protecting the valuable tests and items that are at the core of our customers’ high stakes testing programs.”
Dr. Fremer has previously held management positions at Educational Testing Service and at Harcourt Assessment. At ETS he led the team that worked with the College Board on a major revision of the SAT, and was the Test Development Director for the GMAT, GRE, LSAT, TOEFL, and other graduate and professional exams. For Harcourt, Fremer was VP and Director of the Measurement Division.
