Caveon Regional Sales Director

Caveon Test Security is a privately held, high growth company that is committed to protecting the integrity and health of high stakes testing through the use of a variety of services including Caveon Security Audits, Caveon Web Patrol, and Caveon Data Forensics (statistical analyses to detect abnormal testing patterns, often associated with cheating of various types). We are currently seeking a senior level sales professional to join our team and accelerate our already fast paced growth.

Caveon offers of all these things, as well as a competitive compensation package which includes:  base salary plus commission; paid-time off; medical and dental insurance; and 401k.  The Regional Sales Director is accountable for increasing revenue of Caveon products and services. You are expected to network with key decision makers, manage client relationships and provide customer support. You will work closely with our operations and client services team to advance and close sales in targeted key accounts, specified vertical markets, and geographic territories.  In addition, you are expected to:

  • Prospect and close new contracts for Caveon products and services to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
  • Communicate effectively, through both verbal and written correspondence, with upper-level decision makers at prospect organizations.
  • Develop new business channels by cultivating and managing key partnerships.
  • Prepare and present proposals for clients; work with operations staff to develop time and cost estimates.
  • Attend and participate in selected conferences and exhibits on the state and national levels.
  • Manage expenses relative to budget and territory revenue achieved.
  • Monitor and accurately forecast territory revenue on a monthly and quarterly basis using tools such as SalesForce.com and Microsoft Excel.
  • Research and monitor industry trends, events and legislation to uncover new opportunities for and challenges Caveon’s continued growth.

Requirements:

  • Results oriented, outstanding organizational , planning, and problem solving skills
  • Motivated and self reliant, excellent interpersonal skills, works well in a team setting,
  • Proficiency with technology for productivity and CRM (i.e. Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com, etc)
  • Experience in remote office or virtual company a plus
  • BA/BS degree required, MBA or Masters in Education preferred
  • 5+ years of sales experience  with complex products or services that require a great deal of client support
  • Impeccable communication skills, excellent phone presence, and professional manner
  • History of exceeding sales quotas and recognized sales success
  • Ability to work effectively with a team in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Demonstrated success establishing and cultivating business relationships
  • General understanding of assessment/measurement industry, and/or technology sales
