Dear Associate,

This week’s #1 story covers the Microsoft suit against TestKing. The suit claims that the “defendants have provided and are providing, without license or permission from Microsoft, the original copyrighted exam content from Microsoft Certification Exams.”

I think what Microsoft is doing is great! The only way to slow test piracy is to fight it. Profiteering pirates disguised as test prep companies have hijacked too many certification programs for too long. Programs have the right to claim copyright infringement when their actual test questions are being lifted and sold.

I urge you to make a habit of searching the web for your test content. You may be surprised at what you find. If you’d like some professional help scouring the web learn about Caveon’s Web Patrol service.

Best regards,
Don Sorensen
