Dear Associate,

Last week I attended the Association of Test Publishers (ATP) conference in Orlando, Florida. The conference was well attended and as always, I have pictures to share. I gave a poster session called, “50 Ways to Cheat on Tests” to increase awareness on the various ways that examinees cheat. If you’d like a copy of my handout and slides (and you’re not looking for ways to up your GPA) please respond to this e-mail.

The launch of a new secure online test delivery provider called Kryterion was big news at ATP. I’ll admit my bias since Kryterion is a joint venture between Drake International, Cito and Caveon. If you’d like to learn more about the company here's the press announcement.

One of the topics I discussed with more than a few attendees was this idea being tossed around that allowing students to make use of digital resources like the web is alright since in the “real world” this is how most folks get the job done. I can see the arguments on both sides. You can decide for yourself. The first two articles below are on the topic.

Best regards,
Don Sorensen
