Dear Associate,

As I mentioned in my last e-mail, at the recent NOCA conference we conducted an informal Test Security Survey. Exactly 100 responded, large enough to be interesting, but not a “scientific” sample of the conference attendees.

Highlights of the responses included:

  • 68% spend more time now then five years ago on security issues
  • 81% have not had security audits in the last 18 months
  • 67% have security plans in place
  • 42% search the web for their test questions
  • 40% or more report having particular concerns regarding the security of their items

I’m pleased announce that Gerry Weinberg of Skillcheck, Inc. is the winner of our Refer A Friend contest and will be receiving a brand new  Apple iPod nano! Congratulations Gerry and thank you for the referrals.

I look forward to writing to you next year, and hope you have a Merry Christmas and very enjoyable holiday season.

Warmest regards,
Don Sorensen
